  Key Applications of Ferrovanadium in Metallurgy and Advanced Materials Ferrovanadium (FeV)​ is a ferroalloy containing 40–80% vanadium, with the balance mainly iron and small amounts of aluminum or silicon. It is primarily used to introduce vanadium into steel and other alloys, imparting enhanced mechanical properties.
