Elongation of niobium plate (A%)
Typical value: 25-40% (thickness ≤ 3mm), which decreases with increasing thickness
Process association:
Deep drawing: The elongation of niobium plate needs to be ≥30% to avoid cracking in the cupping test (GB/T 4156), such as preparing a half-wavelength resonant cavity for a superconducting cavity.
Bending: The minimum bending radius is positively correlated with the elongation, and the niobium plate can achieve the limit bending of R/t=1.5 (R is the bending radius, t is the plate thickness).
Niobium plate cross-sectional shrinkage (Z%)
Typical value: 40-60%, reflecting the local plastic deformation capacity of the material, which is crucial for the toughness evaluation of the welded joint.
