High strength and ductility

Mechanical properties: The tensile strength of niobium targets is 120-150 MPa, and the elongation at break is 30-35%. It can be cold rolled to a thickness of 0.1 mm without cracking, meeting the processing requirements of precision sputtering targets.

 

Low residual stress

Stress control: Through vacuum annealing (1000°C/2h) of niobium targets, the residual stress can be reduced from 200 MPa to <50 MPa, avoiding cracking or peeling of the target during sputtering.
